2013 Bike to Work Week!
Bike to Work Week 2013 has launched in the City of Terrace!
With less than one month remaining until Bike to Work Week, it is time to get the bikes out of the shed, put some air in the tires, and prepare yourself for the challenge. 2012 was the first year that the City of Terrace formally participated in Bike to Work Week.
We had over 130 participants in 2012 and we are hoping to more than double our participation in 2013, with the ambitious goal of 300 participants.
Bike to Work Week Terrace will again be offering basic bike tune-ups to participating workplaces. Bike repair sessions are offered on a first come, first serve basis to any workplace that can get 25% of their employees to commit to partake in the initiative. To sign up for these workshops, please contact tirwin@terrace.ca, but act fast as they will fill quickly.
