The Fifteenth Victoria Bike to Work Week Smashes Records!
To say that Victoria’s Fifteenth Bike to Work Week was a success is an understatement!
The dour weather forecast and chilly morning commutes didn’t deter Victoria’s workplace teams to come together to beat the 2008 record by over 1,000 participants.
With 7,229 total cyclists and 622 teams, Bike to Work Week’s organisers are seeing the cumulative effects of fifteen years of hard work and the consistent message that Biking to Work is a great activity for health and wellness.
Working together with the Greater Victoria communities and sponsors, Bike to Work Week has become a part of cycling culture in Victoria, Canada’s cycling capital.
