Bike to Work Kamloops
More Celebration Stations

Two local businesses are giving bike commuters something else to cheer about by running their own mini celebration stations during Kamloops Bike To Work Week, May 27 to June 2, 2013.
Runners Sole (1395 Hillside Dr, in the Aberdeen Village mall) welcomes all bike riders to drop by its outside tent on May 28 from 8:00 to 9:30 AM. They’ll have samples of Skratch, an electrolyte drink, ProBar, an energy bar, and everyone who cycles to the store will have a chance to win a $100 gift certificate! Cyclists will also have a chance to win other prizes while they’re there, including clothing, athletic accessories and food.
Calling all Lemondate Stand Operators

In an effort to encourage young entrepreneurs—and a way to get more lemonade stands for thirsty bike commuters!—Kamloops Bike To Work Week (BTWW) will give any lemonade stand entrepreneurs the supplies for their own lemonade stand, and then they can keep all of the profits!
Bike to Work Week Rolling Towards Goal with Lots of Event Add-ons

Bike mechanic, bike portraits, bike-blender, bike assist program, bike bus-rack demo…, the list goes on. All of these event add ons are happening to help the organizing committee for Kamloops Bike to Work Week reach its goas of 150 teams. There were 108 teams last year, and with two weeks to go before the May 27 to June 2 event, things are really starting to speed up.
